Amblyopia/Lazy eye
Amblyopia is the medical term for lazy eye. It is a problem with vision where the eye and brain do not work together properly. The brain favours one eye over the other and the weak eye does not move or focus correctly. Amblyopia is the most common cause of sight problems in children, but it can occur in adults as well. There are several types of amblyopia and many ways to attempt to improve your vision using eye exercises.
Signs and symptoms of amblyopia include:
- A wandering eye or an eye that does not move well with the other
- Bumping into things
- Poor depth perception
- Squinting or tilting the head
- Blurry Vision
- Double vision
- Covering or shutting one eye
- Headache
- Eye strain
